 I'll be 23 by the time Halloween 2025 comes around. That might not sound like a big deal, but let me share some extra context:
I am turning 23.... and I plan to go Trick or Treating. 

I have not gone since I was 14. 

Now, dear reader, you are probably thinking: Why on Earth is this grown idiot going Trick or Treating at the big age of 23?! Well you see, the answer is simple.

Free will.

Because I fucking CAN.

Now, that's not to say that people should start disrupting a holiday with a celebrational tradition obviously targeted toward children, but I think missing out on a lot of things I really wanted to experience growing up made me a little Loony. So as someone who very easily passes as younger than my age, I am going to say Fuck It and get me some motherfuckin candy this year (And NOT just post-holiday sales). 

Here's the plan.

My little cousin and I are gonna dress up and go around trick or treating since we both pass for somewhere in our mid-teens. We'll collect candy, maybe stop by one of the local haunted houses, head home, and celebrate with some SPOOKY fun Halloween festivities. 

It sounds pretty dull, but I'm really looking forward to it. Bonding with my younger cousin is something I really enjoy, even if my schedule as a SUPER MEGA BUSY AND CHRONICALLY FATIGUED young adult makes it kind of difficult to make/find time. 

ALSO.

Halloween is my UBER ALLTIME SUPREME FAVORITE NO COMPETITION HOLIDAY IN THIS UNIVERSE!! I couldn't miss it for the world. I like to celebrate AS MUCH as possible, and I'd really like to actually DO something with someone else this year instead of doing my usual Solo-Man Halloween Party thing that I've done since teenhood (Yes, I have learned how to throw one-man parties...). 

Listen, that's not me saying I'll entirely dismiss my usual tradition. In fact, I actually REALLY want to go all out this year. I'm hoping that this year I'll be able to, though, because the past few years I've been saying that and things just keep popping up!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm excited and eager to see what the holiday should bring and what I, THE NUMBER ONE Halloween fan, has in store.... Because yes, I even surprise myself at times.

Classic Halloween, my beloved. Themed paper party cups/plates/napkins, halloween-themed treats/goodies/desserts, little Halloween trinkets, classic halloween music and films and cartoon episodes/specials!!! Ah! The list goes on. I'm stoked! And even better, this year I'll have the candy to snack on!
