-- AN ORDINARY MOMENT.
Back in the mountains, I used to go on adventures all the time. Not that I don't anymore, but I feel like they're more "mundane" now than they used to feel. In the mountains, every little adventure feels glorious. It feels like a story, a real moment in time.
I recall a few years back I'd found this town and really fell in love with the beauty I saw in it.
Nestled in the mountains, through covered bridges, tree leaves orange and fluttering away in the chilly autumn air, railroads lining down the town. There really is no better feeling than feeling at peace in the world, I think.
There was this old train station converted into a dining place. We decided to stop there for lunch, but as we stood waiting, my eyes gazing around me, drinking in all the beautiful decor and the atmosphere, I just had to capture the scene. The interior felt magical to me.
I'm an avid lover of following railroad tracks for some reason, so I walked along the tracks for a little just enjoying the weather and scenery before I departed.
The ride home was breathtaking, no surprise. I could get lost in the mountains and fields out there forever. It truly is a magical place to be in the autumn.
